Hi, glad to see this project has evolved so well :)
I'm finally trying to move from swaybar, but:
With a simple config on a multimonitor setup:
invoking the cli to hide the bar that is on multiple monitors:
ironbar bar bar hideonly hides a bar on a single monitor, instead of all.
@zeroeightysix commented on GitHub (Nov 10, 2024):
I guess this comes from the fact that ironbar assumes the names are unique, while (and rather trivially) allowing you to set the same name for multiple bars.
@JakeStanger commented on GitHub (Nov 10, 2024):
Hey, yes the name is intended to be unique per bar, so the IPC server will only ever operate on the first match.
I see the issue here. I think the solution is just to make it operate on all matches instead, which is an easy enough change in theory.
