Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It is currently hard to discover sensor names. The typical Intel/AMD ones are now on the wiki, but these are not obvious.
Describe the solution you'd like
The
sys_infomodule should offer some "smart" aliases that can automatically attempt to use the appropriate device based off a directory of well-known names. For exampletemp_c:cpushould try to automatically find the relevant CPU sensor. This could also apply to the network tokens.
Describe alternatives you've considered
As part of the CLI work next update, I'd like to add a command to list sys_info formatting tokens in one form or another.
